Complicated rehash of the 25 things for summer and 2014 music interactives.
Originally the movie trailers were given to me as iframes - but it turns out you cannot command a video in an iframe to stop or pause or play - instead the video must be inline the page.
I had to go each movie asset/trailer in the online content system, suppress the ads, grab the right size clip and find the thumbnail. There are about forty videos amongst all the reviewers and the main page. Enough complaining, you can find the interactive a little ways down the page.
I was surprised by a few of the entries on this list, but not because of quality - I just hadn't imagined release dates would be significantly different in the different countries. For us, Her and Inside Llewyn Davis were distinctly 2013 films.
ReplyDeleteyes, time can be a bit distorted down here. i believe birdman is releasing today, but perhaps it's been out for two weeks in the US? also several of the top picks are coloured by Australian association. either aussie director or about aussie things.
